Welcome to the Six Flags Over Texas! It's your time for family fun and world class thrills. This is the original six flags park. There are a total of 39 parks throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America. Six Flags parks serve 19 of the 25 largest metropolitan areas in the United States. You will one among approximately 50 million guests worldwide to visit the Six Flags.
Six flags over Texas has a unique history. It takes its name from the six flags that have flown over the area, which is now Texas.
These include, the Spanish flag from 1519 to 1821, the French flag from 1685 to 1690, the Mexican flag from 1821 to 1836, the confederate flag from 1861 to 1865, the Texas flag from 1836 to 1845 and the US flag between 1845 to 1861 and 1866 to the present. Truly, a unique history!

At the Six Flags, you can have thrills and excitement of a lifetime! In 2003 you are sure to have more of that than last year. Rush for wholesome family fun!
There are a variety of roller coasters and rides for kids and the entire family!

Shock Wave
Shock Wave, world's first roller coaster with back-to-back vertical loops, takes you up to 42 feet from the ground. If that ain't a thrill, what is? Definitely an unforgettable experience!

Titan drops you at the speed of 85 miles an hour from heights of 255 feet above the ground.

Flashback takes you back in time…well, almost! What would tumbling 3 times forward, and 3 times going backwards do to you!

Runaway Mountain dares you to ride to heights of 48" enclosed in a 65-foot tall mountain. A truly thrilling one of a kind experience!

Batman the ride is the most innovative and classic coaster design of the 20th century- featuring riders suspended from track.

Mr. Freeze takes you on a coolest ride of your life. At 242 chilling feet, it is the tallest roller coaster in Texas and at speeds of 70 mph, also the fastest!

Feel the thrills and excitement of space travel at the Space Shuttle of America to take you to an entirely different world.

Texas Giant is a monstrous wooden roller coaster towering 14 stories into the Texas sky. Takes you at speeds of 62 mph, making it "America's Coaster" and the world's #1 wooden roller coaster.
Oil Derrick
Towering over the Six Flags, the Oil Derrick is a Six Flags and Arlington landmark. Ride to the top for spectacular views of the stunning skyline of both Dallas and Fort Worth.

Six Flags dares you to dive from 150 feet at high speeds at the Dive Bomber Alley.
Go Go-Karting with your friends. The Six Flags has Single and double seat carts available. There is an additional fee for this attraction.

Roaring Rapids welcomes you to a family outing on the white water river rapids. Ideal on a warm Texas day, you need to be at least 36" tall to ride and people less than 42", must be accompanied by an adult.

Texas Chute Out
Float up in a parachute nearly 200 breathtaking feet, plummet toward the ground and drift in for a soft landing. You must be at least 36" tall to ride. If you are less than 42", an adult must accompany you.

Judge Roy Scream is a classic wooden roller coaster sprawling over an eight-acre site along the park's entry lake. You must be at least 42" tall to speed along at 50 mph, in this thrilling ride.

Bumper Cars
Let the Good Times roll and bump like crazy at this rockin' ride gone mad. (must be 42" to ride and 54" to drive)

El Sombrero welcomes the entire family for a spin on this twirling and tilting Mexican hat. La Vibora meaning "The Viper" is fashioned after the competitive bobsled. This exciting ride shoots passengers twisting through freewheeling, fast-moving bobsled thrills.

Conquistador is an exciting adventure on the high seas. Sway rhythmically to the swaying of the Spanish ship. It starts calmly but quickly explodes into fantastic fun.

El Aserradero takes you to fun in the water. It's the world's first log flume ride with fun for the whole family.

Silver Star Carousel is an enjoyable sentimental in the turn-of-the-century wooden horse that has been lovingly restored by hand.

Splash Water takes you into a sleek boat, high up in the sky and gives goose bumps as you zoom down for an exhilarating, water-filled landing.

Looney Tunes USA is the ultimately fun and excitement for your kids. Kids have fun in the exciting rides with a new maze adventure specially made for them.

Yosemite Sam's Gold River Adventure takes you on an animated boating Gold River Adventure through this Wild West cartoon that has come to life. Sheriff Bugs Bunny is after the bandit who stole the gold. Find out who stole the gold and cat the culprit?

Chaparral Antique Cars take you back in time to the Wild West with these old-fashioned, gas-powered cars.

Texas Depot is a relaxing ride on the Six Flags Railroad to the Boomtown section. Six Flags is proud to feature the 101-year-old Jefferson Patton steam engine.

WildCatter is a cliffhanger experience where passengers are shot 10 stories straight in the air and then pushed over the edge. A thrilling heart-pounding, one-of-a-kind freefall makes it worth the scare.

The Six Flags Over Texas Mine Train is the world's first tubular steel roller coaster.
Mini Mine Train welcomes kids for fun ride with thrills.

Texas Tornado takes you on a ride of thrills sending you twirling in a circle, faster and faster, while ascending to terrific heights. Then, it takes you swirling right back down to the tame Texas terrain.

Boomtown Depot takes you on a nostalgic ride on the Six Flags Railroad. Celebrate the 101st anniversary of the park's Jefferson Patton steam locomotive as you circle the entire park or stop off at the Texas section.

Missile Chaser is fun for the entire family with thrilling circular motion ride.


Kids can have fun at the Six Flags!
You can take your kids to the Hook's Lagoon, Bubba Tub, Boogie Beach, Suntan Lagoon and the Lazy River.

Hook's Lagoon is 5-stories of amazing interactive fun, including Hook's Hideout and the S.S. Crocodile. Kids don't fret. Your parents wont prevent you from climbing net ladders, slide down slippery slides and blast your friends with water cannons. Watch out! You might get wet! There's a 1,000-gallon bucket that tips every few minutes to drench everyone below.

Bubba Tub is a four-passenger inner tube adventure beginning at the top of a 70-foot tower and travels over a 300-foot-long, triple-dip course. Scary, is it?

Boogie Beach area is like a beehive of activities with sporting events such as volleyball and a new sand area. Music, interactive activities and special events are always going on here.

Suntan Lagoon
Kids can enjoy getting wet in the one-million-gallon activity pool with geysers, fountains and waterfalls surrounded by a carpeted sun-tanning deck.

Lazy River
With more than 300,000 gallons of water circulating through this relaxing river at a current of 3 miles per hour, you can either float or tube along one-quarter mile of gentle, relaxing river.

Thrills and Six Flags excitement

Rush to the numerous rides here for not just fun and excitement but screams and action.

Surf Rider
Get to the Boogie Beach as fast as you can. You can get an experience of action and water-thrills unseen before. You can surf on the simulated waves created by water rushing at 24,000 gallons per minute. Do you feel as if you are in the real ocean? Most likely, you will. High energy and action is what you will get here. You can't get an experience like this in the country, but at Hurricane Harbor!

The Black Hole
You are taken through two tentacle-like tubes, each 500 feet long, twisting from an ominous black flying saucer. You can ride with a companion alongside on the special inner tubes that zoom through the inner darkness of the tentacles, which stretch down to a splashy ending.

Sea Wolf
Come to the Sea wolf, a 4-passenger flexible toboggans and race down 830 feet of open, high-banked turns and drops. The Toboggans are powered by water blasting at the rate of 4,000 gallons per minute. The speedy raiders of the Caribbean inspired this one of a kind ride. Thrilling!

Blue Raider
For the ultimate water experience, take the 2-passenger inner tubes as they zip 530 feet down a twisting slide that ends with a huge splash. You will go through a dark tunnel as you are powered by 3,000 gallons of water per minute. This ride was designed as a companion to Sea Wolf and Blue Raider. It's a real challenge even for the brave hearted.

Shotgun Falls
You can enjoy this one tremendously. As you ride on the 4 separate high-speed slides, side-by-side, you will be blasted with 2,000 gallons of water per minute through each slide into a refreshing pool.

Der Stuka
For the most thrilling experience of you life, just climb the seven-story tower; select one among the north slide or the south slide; Close your eyes for a second as you lie down and open them as you slide into a free fall that could leave you breathless.
